According to Saudi women's group assails judge over 8-year-old's marriage, A eight-year-old girl was betrothed to one of her father’s friends under no knowing.Because her father wanted to resolve his debt problem,he “sold” the girl to the old man,who is forty-seven years old.Then,her mother issued a petition to dismiss the wide-gap marriage.However,the judges refused and announced this case shouldn’t be judged until the girl become an adolescent.

My reactions:
In my point of view,this kind of marriage has a lot of to do with their religion and their supreme perspectives of patriarchy.However,such marriage will do great harm to little children.For example,they can’t have a happy childhood as us,that will leave a lot of regrets to them.Second,they may have the wrong thought toward sex.Most important of all,almost of them will get hurt not only in physiologyand but also in mentality.They may feel confused when they are children but they must grow up someday and they will come to realize the whole thing.It’s just a matter of time.
It is right to pay respect to alien culture,however,I think this kind of situation should be revised seriously.With the great advance of technology,some custom and perceptions also need to be corrected instead of staying at the traditional stage.I think the equal rights for men and women should be emphasized deeply and executed thoroughly,not just speaking at random.(211 words)
